Lauren Mander, RMT
Born and raised in Powell River, Lauren moved to Victoria in 2018 to attend the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. After successful completion of her Provincial Board Exams in the fall of 2020, she moved back home to begin her practice at Suncoast Integrated Health. She is excited to be back in her beloved community and expand her skill set working with mentors in a multi-disciplinary setting to provide optimal care to her clients.
Throughout high school, Lauren sustained sports-related injuries. Numerous rehabilitation treatments seeded a desire within her to one day be able to help others in this way. While deciding on which post-secondary path she wanted to take, she was drawn to massage therapy because of her interest in human anatomy and problem-solving.
Lauren utilizes a wide variety of techniques but focuses on Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial techniques. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge in Craniosacral, cross-friction, and movement-based therapies, and working with all different types of conditions.
Her special interests include neck pain and headaches, chronic injuries, stress management, and mental health.
In her free time Lauren loves travelling, spending time with friends and family, escaping to the outdoors, and taking care of her ever growing indoor-plant collection.
