“Within you there is a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself”.

—Herman Hesse

Thai Yoga Massage combines the use of acupressure and gentle stretching to help release muscle tension and improve mobility in the body. Often referred to as “the lazy man’s yoga”, the practitioner guides the client through various passive (assisted) stretches and range of motion work.  These are interspersed with pressure along the body’s “Sen” energy lines which relax muscles and enhance the flow of internal energy.

Thai Massage is an ancient healing system that evolved in Thailand over 2000 years ago.  Its roots trace back to the origins of Buddhism in Siam (premodern Thailand), and further back to the traditions of Yogic and Ayurvedic medicine in India, 2500 years ago.

  • Thai Yoga Massage gently adjusts the skeletal structure, increases flexibility and restores movement.

  • Induces relaxation and calms the nervous system, reducing stress.

  • Reduces pain and improves circulation.

  • Stimulates proper lymph flow and drainage, therefore improving immune system function.

This type of massage is performed on a mat on the floor and the recipient remains fully clothed.
